Drake becomes the first artist to go Platinum in 2015…

Drake is officially the first artist to reach platinum in 2015. His mixtape 'If You're Reading This It's Too Late' has so far sold over 1 million copies to date. He's not the first rapper, the first artist, period! The only other album to go platinum this year was Taylor Swift's 1989 but that came out in 2014.

Drake dropped the album back in February on iTunes and did not release physical copies until two months later. Meek Mill, don't be too mad! Hehe
